"This is a huge family favourite and friends always ask for the recipe ! I add the whole jar of pataks balti , we also chop the chicken into bite sized pieces and add sugar snaps or French beans 5 minutes towards the end. The quinoa absorbs all the flavours . It is a thick stewy consistency so we serve it in bowls with yoghurt and poppadums . A fab one pot wonder , brilliant reheated the next day too if there's any left !"

"I had to add some bombay curry spice as I thought turmeric lacked kick on its own. It was very good."

"I didnt enjoy this as much as I had hoped, I think my family found the skin and subsequent fat a little off putting. My husband, who had recently returned from a trip to Spain did declare it authentic !"

"I did this in the slow cooker. I added a bouquet garni and 2 cloves of garlic because I felt it needed it. I also thought it was a shame only to add the cranberry sauce at the end so I added half at the beginning and half at the end. It was delicious, we had it with the "cheesey puffs" (in this months magazine )and greens but next time I would just do mash and veggies."
