"There were no Toulouse sausages in the supermarket so I bought Pork & Spiced Apricot ones instead. I also used Chorizo instead of bacon and added an onion (and some more garlic). Served it alongside a portion of mustardy mash. Was absolutely delicious, the chorizo made all the difference!"

"I added some onion, a small amount of paprika & tabasco (instead of the fresh chilli because I didn't have one), sugar and a little chopped parsley for garnish (oh and extra garlic!). Very simple and tasty side dish."

"Had these for brunch, were delicious! Made the butter from Lurpac, dried basil, grated hard cheese, tomato puree & seasoning as these are what I had in the kitchen at the time. Cooked in a coffee cup as I didn't have a ramekin. Will definitely have again!"

Chinese braised red cabbage

"Served this with the sticky pork recipe (http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/4688/sticky-pork.jsp?binderbox=showlogin#3). My advice is make sure you cook the cabbage for long enough because we were in a bit of a rush and so it didn't turn out as soft or glazed as I would have liked. I didn't have any rice wine vinegar so used a combination of rice vinegar and white wine vinegar. Look out for the star anise after it has cooked because they tend to hide themselves pretty well! "
