"Made this yesterday but used figs instead of apples as I still have a tree full to use up!! It was absolutely fantastic, the walnuts made the crumble taste so much better. I will use the recipe again and again."

"We have so many figs here in France at the moment it is difficult to know what to do with them all! I made this recipe when we had family staying last week and everyone loved it asking for more when the dish was empty! The lemon blended well with the balsamic vinegar and was a welcome change to a green salad with cold meats. This is now a firm family favourite."

"I have used this recipe for dinner parties and family meals and everyone loves it. It is so easy to cook and the chicken is very moist, although I do use white wine sometimes if we don't have any cider in the house!"

"We had this last night and it was a great success, couldn't get hake so had whiting instead and it was lovely. I will definitely be making the cabbage and beans again as it will go with lots of other things. We are off to France in a couple of weeks so will be making this recipe for some friends over there when they visit."
