"I halved this to serve 2 but there was nowhere near enough for a main meal for 2, ended up throwing in the whole can of chickpeas and a tin of tomatoes......better as a side dish than a main I think, just not substansial enough and lacks oooomph!"

"I make this every year ....I have friends who actually expect a jar from me at Christmas and are disapointed if I dont deliver! Its great with everything.....especially sausages....often I put a dollop in a stew to liven it up. My husband gets very upset when we run out!"

"Cant understand where people went wrong with this. We love it. I do use smoked paprika though, better flavour, also do it in a big open wok so you can get the sauce to the right consistency. I add mushrooms too to make it more substantial. Lovely with baked potatoes and cabbage."
