"A meal with lots of flavour and will definitely make again. This was plenty for two and enough left to go with Baked Potatoes a couple of days later which tasted even better with all those infused spices."

"These ingredients work really well together. They are exciting flavours, it's fresh and zingy and it must be tried! However, I do not think this is enough for a main meal as advertised in the Good Food magazine, but as a starter for 4 people it is perfect."

Succulent braised venison

"This is a gorgeous dish - cooked it when my in-laws came for dinner and it was a hit. Served with greens and yorkshire puds. It certainly is a classy stew."

"Found this very tasty, especially the cobbler which could be adapted as a topping on other dishes. Next time, as I am only cooking for two, I would halve the bottom ingredients but keep the same amount of dough on top because that is the best bit!"
