"Made this tonight and it was really lovely, quick and easy and good combo of spices. I wasnt srue what they meant about crushed seeds of Cardamon but i removed seeds from pods(that tuk ages) and bashed them a bit it the end of a sppon! dont have peslte and mortar! and I used Tumeric as no fennel seeds and cumin seeds as no ground cumin! was very tasty and I look forward toleftovers! served with brow rice. "

"Right with you lipstick! I'm assuming that we don't have to use cream sherry in it? being te-total I can't use alcohol in cooking - any other suggestions? Could you use mint essence? "

"Just made these and they worked really well - the tip about not needing to crush the sweets was great. I made stars as its nearly christmas and just gently puished the sweet in whole after cooking the biscuits for about 5 mins first. They look and taste great. "

The ultimate makeover: Chocolate brownies

"Just made these, they taste and smell great. I am just hoping they keep okay for two days coz I am having to make desert in advance for dinner for friends. I would not say they are like the full fat amazing brownies but as others said I would not expect this. for a lower fat one they are great though and I think I will be making these again soon."

"I've just made these again. Always works well and this time I mixed a bit of cinamon in the icing sugar before rolling dough in it and its lovely! I used teaspoon to scoup dough out, rolled it in my hands and then in iciing sugar. Bit messy but great fun! and pretty tasty!"
