"it is a bit bland and watery but its a good budget recipe. i used it as a base for a shepherdess pie as well as a bolognese sauce. its a good adaptable recipe. didnt process the veggies.just finely chopped them. i thought it was too much water as it is watery on the pasta, seasoning i would put in at the start of the simmering time not after as it say."

"its a good enough budget recipe but it does taste a bit bland and watery. but it is a recipe to improve on. had it the next night as a veggie shepherds pie (i added frozen peas to the base then mash on top) which was delicious!. you could make a chilli out of it or have it with a baked potato. a wide list of possiblities"
