"My mum used to make something exactly like this when I was a kid, I was thrilled to find the recipe again. It is brilliant comfort dessert, my husband can't talk while eating it he loves it so much. Nothing better for a rainy winter evening, I almost always have the ingredients on hand. I never bother with a food processor, the hand blender is fine. I'm sure a spatula, whisk and some elbow grease would make it happen without a hand blender!"
