Rice pudding with raisin & cinnamon syrup

"I made exactly as the recipe said and it was pretty easy (apart from taking my eyes off the milk for a second and it boiling over!) and the end result was fantastic. Nearly everyone at our dinner party went back for seconds! "

"I made the dip exactly as said but used sweet potato wedges with the cumin and chilli as I'm a big fan of sweet potato. Used 3 big sweet potatoes cut into wedges with the oil and a teaspoon and a half of cumin and same again chilli powder and just oven cooked for about 40 minutes. They went down a treat with the dip as part of a mexican banquet style meal. "

"Just made this for tea and loved it! I wasn't sure I could fry in the casserole dish I was using so I stir fried chicken/salami/onion and courgette in a small pan then added to the rice/stock/wine and chucked in a cup of frozen peas and sweetcorn. Cooked for 40 mins as the casserole dish was cold when I put it all in and worked perfectly. Very easy, lovely and creamy - would make 2/3 of the recipe amount next time though as this was too much for 2 with all the extra bits I threw in. Great recipe, thanks! "
