"This is a good idea but NO WAY do you need a full 500g packet for this. I used about half to two thirds of the amount stated above and got a good ratio of sauce to pasta. Perhaps though my sauce reduced down too much. Sauce was tasty though and very quick and easy for a Monday night. Added a few capers as they were in the fridge. "

Succulent braised venison

"really easy to make and totally yummy. Made it exactly as per the recipe and served it with garlic mash and braised red cabbage. Not sure about 8 servings though - although perhaps me and my four friends are just greedy guts!"

"This is yum and really simple to put together. To get ahead I griddled the pears in advance and then when everyone was ready to eat I warmed them up just a little in the microwave. As Shelagh says don't have the pears too warm as the cheese does start sticking together. But the dressing is brill and the bacon makes is so tasty."

"Yummeeeeee! Cooked this for friends and there was absolutely none left. Even the last bit of sauce got mopped up! Highly recommended and simple to cook."

Peanut butter cake

"I made this cake over the weekend and brought it into the office where it quickly disappeared. As with other posts keep your eye on the nuts - they won't need the full 10 mins. Also don't skimp on the fillings - next time I made this I would increase the amount by about a half as the cake seemed to soak it up. But overall v yummy"
