"Left out the cheese and used white onions chopped up, also added courgettes to tin to cook along side in oven not grill. nearish the end added a glass of white wine, so, even after thoroughly messing around with the recipe it was good and enjoyed by even my picky housemates! "

"leaving off the topping of fried onion and spices this is a lovely comforting supper. i have made it many times on its own with rice or as part of a feast!"
