"I made my margarine piping hot as suggested but found it difficult to spread, it spat up at me and was too liquidy to get on my knife. Ended up pouring on all 500g as wasn't sure how much I would've used if it was more spreadable. You definitely need a spoon to eat this peanut butter on toast which I wasn't expecting, but lovely to try a classic American recipe at last. The ones I've found always insist on knife and forks. This recipe i'd definitely say is more for the 'keen cook' that a beginner."

"As a normal sized cake I thought this was absolutely lovely and the best (ass everyone said) that they had tasted. it has even come to the point where I have been asked to make this as the base tier for my brother's wedding cake...any ideas for timings etc??? Thanks!"
