"I followed the recipe to the last word and we were all disappointed, I'm afraid it went in the bin, it was tasteless and very certainly lacked something, I make an alternative to this using more spices and extra marinating, I'll stick to what I know on this one!"

"Lovely, the second time I made it I added chicken (to keep my husband happy) and threw a courgette in as I didn't have an aubergine. I make my own paste, following Jamie Olivers Tikka paste recipe. This is my favourite at the moment!"

"Easy to make and looks impressive, I couldn't care what it tastes like as it's appearance is so fab I don't want it to be eaten, however, it does contain the most wonderfully tasty ingredients so it won't be anything but delicious! Looks enough to feed about 20 as part of a buffet."

"I have only ever made them as small cakes, and they aren't around for long, they are incredibly tasty & sophisticated to boot! As the icing is plentiful, I always follow the recipe and freeze half of the icing, I then have the comfort of knowing that I'll be able to whip up a batch at a moments notice if we have visitors coming. "

"Wonderful flavours, my husband says that he dislikes honey, so i didn't mention it's use in the recipe until after he had eaten loads and complimented me on my efforts! This will be a lovely evening meal during the warm summer evenings, as I have spent the winter pregnant, looking forward to a small glass of something bubbly with it. "
