"Baking times need to be changed!! I made this the other day following the recipe instructions and baked for 30 mins, only now have I noticed that the top instructions say cook for 45 mins. I thought it was cooked but maybe it could have done with longer as it is very moist and stodgy. Not sure if this is how it should be or if its undercooked. Its a very filling, dense cake. Don't think I'd be rushing to make it again, the taste is ok but not amazing. "

"This is a quick tasty recipe. Great for using over ripe bananas. I added some dried mixed fruit too. The lemon sugar drizzle adds a nice zing."

"This is a nice dessert for a special occasion or buffet for large numbers as itâs very sweet and the texture is dense so only a small slice is needed. I preferred it served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream than eating it on its own, as it helped to stop it from being so heavy and made it lighter and easier to eat, although doesnât help with the calories! I used fudge pieces rather than hard caramels but canât see what they added to the recipe-donât think Iâd bother to buy them next time."

Unbelievably easy mince pies

"Never made pastry or mince pies before but these were easy to make and tasted delicious. Didn't need to add any liquid to the pastry. The texture is lovely, similar to shortcake, which might be why people are having trouble getting them out of the tin as they are a bit crumbly. Greasing the tin and waiting for them to cool a little seems to help. I rolled the pastry out and used a cutter as the method described sounded a bit fiddly. Shop bought pies taste dire after these!
