"Delicious and beautiful! A real hit. Be warned: if you're using frozen raspberries, they disintegrate slightly when defrosted, which lends the final decoration a slightly "grand guignol" look (still tasty though!"

"Delicious! I used 2.5 tsps of instant coffee in 100ml boiling water, and the coffee taste came through beautifully. I also used pecans instead of walnuts, which worked perfectly. "

"Hmm. This needed a little tweaking. The first attempt, the lemon curd leaked throughout, and the buns cooked a little too quickly, so that by the time the meringue topping was cooked, the buns were just shy of being burnt. Solution: adding the lemon curd *after* the first ten mins in the oven, either as just a dollop on top, with the meringue then piped over it; or coring out a part of the cake, and spooning the lemon curd in, then covering with the meringue. I also added a half teaspoon of cornstarch along with the sugar when mixing the meringue, to make it bind together better. Overall, very tasty, but the recipe needs a little work."

"I was surprised at how well these turned out. Of course they don't taste quite as good as the full-fat version, but they're still yummy and it's a slightly more virtuous treat with my elevenses. I left my bananas in a plastic bag with an apple for a few days to ripen faster (apples emit a lot of ethylene, which makes fruit ripen faster). They were practically liquified by the time I unpeeled them! I was dubious, but they worked perfectly in the recipe. And I took the tip about adding maple syrup for sweetness, which made the difference. "

"One of the easiest recipes I have ever made, but conveniently, also one of the most impressive! I have never had chicken so juicy and flavoursome. My one caveat is that any potatoes that were sitting right next to a lemon wedge were overwhelmingly lemony. Next time, I'm going to leave the lemon wedges nestled up to the chicken instead."
