"Followed instructions meticulously. Cake looked and smelled good but was obsolutely horrid. Dry, crumbly, could not slice. What could I have done wrong, I wonder? "

"Made nine cakes in two weeks and not a crumb left as my chocoholic granddaughter and son in law keep sneaking into their kitchen and cutting slices. They keep denying it but if it's not them - they have a chocohollc mouse!! My granddaughter and daughter prefer plain butter icing and there's lots of ways to decorate. I like to flick up the icing into peaks. I'm off now to try out the 24 muffin style cakes."
