"Yep, agreed 100% excellent recipe, I also added a tin of chopped tomatoes cos I didn't have any puree, worked fine. Meat just ,melted after long slow cooking."

"Enjoyed the flavour but was disappointed in the sauce which was very thin, and i am not up for fishing everything out to then thicken it and return all to pan. Perhaps would be better to coat the meat in seasoned flour to help thicken up sauce. I would also prefer to use a slightly better quality braising beef."

"Like most comments I too used zest of 2 lemons, and also done lemon & lime, just as good. Top marks for this one, if you want it seriously lemony then could try adding a drop or 2 of pure lemon oil(Lakelands sell it, not the fake stuff). Got good comments all round from friends who have been lucky enough to get a slice!!"

"Agree with all positive comments made. Excellent quick evening meal, you can change what you put in the sauce too, maybe onions/mushrooms. To make it even speedier I would use thinner slices of chicken breast, flash fry or even grill, then put to one side whilst making the sauce."
