    "I made this cake yesterday and it went down a storm. Mine also didn't rise as much as I thought it would, so just cut it in 2. When I make again, may use 3 sponge tins to get the height effect. Omitted marshmallows, mainly because other half bought kids ones and not white n pink ones, but didn't think it needed them. Also used Carnation Caramel (which does now say Dulce de Leche on the tin). Spread half on the base, sliced bananas on the top, then added the cream. Topped with other half of cake and rest of caramel. Had I had another banana, I would have sliced this and put it on top in place of marshmallows. Will be adding it to my baking repertoire!"

    "I made these for my sons nursery teachers when he left. I think went down very well. We did manage to taste a few and we all liked them. Ideal for Christmas presents too!"

    "They are quite simply the best ever Brownies. Well worth the extra bit of effort. Had oldies seal of approval as well. Ideal for the chocoholic in you! Needed to use up odd bits of cocolate in the fridge, mission accomplished..... I now need to go and find some more to make some more!"

    "Such an easy cake to make and takes delicious. My boyfriend loves it but the test'll be Nan tomorrow! I put almond extract and some water into the icing instead of lemon juice to make it extra almondy. Highly recommend ***"

    "Made this cake for a friends birthday. It went down a storm and he now wants me to make him a cake every birthday. Very easy to make, although the preparation takes a while. I'm cooking another one this week for an 18th birthday, lets hope it goes just as well!"
