Seven-hour lamb

"Absolutely amazing, I used a half leg of lamb, knuckle end and it just fitted my cast iron pot. The meat just fell apart and tasted wonderful. To get the rich tasting sauce be sure to reduce well, it changes to a very slightly thicker consistency. I tasted this at Orlando's B & B in France and just had to make it"

"I don't usually go for traditional recipes made " healthy" but this one is an exception. It's quicker as everything is on one tray in the oven and there was no loss of authenticity. I fried my eggs as usual & left ou the sausage & fried bread. "

"This was very good a completely different taste experience with the flavourful, vegetable infused red wine gravy. Fresh tarragon was not available, so I used freeze dried and also what vegs I had in. Onion carrot swede and celery. It was perfectly cooked in the time suggested. It will certainly be cooked again. "
