"Did this recipe for tea yesterday...it was the tortillas that attracted me! I did halve the chicken breasts to begin with to make them flatter and cooked them in garlic before adding the toppings and putting them in the oven to bake. From previous experience this seems to make the chicken much juicier and not so dried out tasting. I loved the combination of salsa, sour cream, crunch and cheese...delicious and so easy. Recommend 100% and am doing this again for tea tomorrow night...just to use up the rest of the salsa and sour cream of course! I served with some chopped salad and vegetable rice."

"Was soooooo excited to try these but ended up with ONE large cookie on the baking sheet and a load of cookie slop running down my oven door! They spread absolutely loads when you cook them and mine had blended into one huge mess (delicious mess though I have to say!). Did try with a smaller spoonful and more space inbetween cookies for the next batch and was much more successful...still huge but atleast my oven stayed clean and slop-free! Totally more-ish and gooey with crunchy edges. Next time they'll be perfect!"

Slow-cooked lamb with onions & thyme

    Tested

"Absolutely delicious! Recipe worked a treat! Although...I did have two legs of lamb...one supermarket boneless leg of lamb and one bone in leg (I was curious to see how the different joints would turn out and was stuffed full with lamb over the easter weekend...what a tragedy!!) and the difference between the two joints with the same recipe...unblelievable! So...bone in legs of lamb every time from now on! So much more tender...melt in the mouth. I did add some carrots, garlic and celery aswell as the onion at the initial stage to get a more varied flavour as thought the sauce might be a little to onion-y. I also thickened it at the end and might even run some mint and redcurrant sauce through next time for a variation on the sauce. Will only do lamb this way from now on and can't wait to do it again!"

Strawberry cheesecake in 4 easy steps

    Tested

"Wowser or what?!! Made this last night to eat today and I have to admit it was tasting pretty darn good last night before even setting properly! I always avoid cheesecake recipes even though I love eating cheesecake. Every one I've seen involved gelatine and I don't do gelatine very well at all! This recipe was so easy to make up with a worryingly amount of cream cheese but the taste is just superb! Will make it again at the weekend and worry about the calories another time. Easy to make with fantastic results! "
