"This is nice enough, but I made it with my home made totally wonderful sausages and they fell apart during the frying process. Maybe heavily processed ones would be better, but I felt rather cheated. Being in deeply rural France, English-style sausages are not available for a re-try..."

"Mmmmm yummy. Usually I am not that taken with tomato soup but, in spite of having a flavour note totally unlikethe tinned variety, it is subtler and gives the impression of being really substantial. Only four stars as the uniformity of the flavour can become a bit tiresome. But if it's tomato soup you want... let it be this one!! "

"This is the first BBCGF recipe (of about 70 I've tried) with which I was really disappointed. Possibly a result of my ineptitude, but the cobbler turned out tough and 'heavy. I much prefer crumbles."
