Mary Berry's Christmas chutney
112 comments
"Gorgeous. Made it October time and followed receipe exactly. Only recently started making chutneys and tried this as it had such good feedback. Served it with chicken liver pate as a starter on Christmas day & everyone loved it. Its also great with cheese, cold meat etc We have already gone through all the jars we had and so I am planning on making more. Don't limit it to Christmas! Personally I think it would be a nice barbeque relish"

"Made this last night and it was absolutely gorgeous! I have to say I didn't bother with the additional fried ginger and substituted fish sauce as I didn't have light soy. It went down well with all my family, including my husband who wasn't keen when I showed him the recipe beforehand. I think it would be really nice with pork as well. I served it with jasmine rice and stir fried cabbage sprinkled with sesame seed oil & soy sauce. My cabbage hating son asked for seconds of that!"

"I had this at a friends house recently. I adore chocolate puddings/desserts well anything with chocolate really and I have to say that this is possibly the best chocolate pudding I have ever eaten - and I have eaten many!"

One-pan prawn & tomato curry
26 comments
"I make a lot of curries. I have made this particular curry several times with chicken (not prawns so far) after seeing it in the magazine. It has received great praise from my picky husband who is not generally one to go overboard on compliments! My kids (one of whom is also very picky) also love it. I love a flavorful curry but don't like anything very hot and this just fits the bill as its really tasty without being too hot although if you want it hotter just add more chilli as other reviewers have suggested. This will definitely be a regular in our household"
