"I made this cake yesterday, as a birthday gift for a "chocolate cake" loving friend. I am afraid I was very disappointed with the result. Making the cake was easy, but it was very crumbly and I found it hard to cut into two, never mind three. While attempting to cut it one piece broke in half.I was not too worried as I thought I could glue it together with the ganache. Then I had the second problem. The ganache was far to runny. I left it in the fridge for awhile, after reading other peoples reviews, and that helped alittle.But not enough. I was not happy giving this as a gift, but I knew my friend would understand. Any way, the feed back from her after eating the cake....." its fantastic. When can you make another""

"So easy to make. We had it warm for a pudding, with greek yoghurt. Will definatly make again. I am goimg to try blackcurrants next time."

" Fantastic. So easy to make. Unfortunatly I did not have any almond essence to put in, and it was not almondy enough. I have bought some now, so I can make, and eat, the cake again. Yum!"
