"Made these at the weekend and they are delicious but I did have to add a beaten egg to the mixture as it wasn't coming together at all without it! But once i'd done that the pastry worked a treat and I was able to roll it out and cut the circles for the tin which personally i much prefer to do than pressing the pastry straight in there! I did grease the tins well and had no problems getting the mince pies out! Delicious hot from the oven! "

"I made these at the weekend and they turned out brilliantly! They are very easy and mine didn't go soggy at all - lovely and moist cake - i let them cool on a wire rack, not in the tins! It does need the topping though - i don't think they'd be quite the same without it! This was very runny when first made but I left it over night and by the morning it was nice and thick to dollop a lovely thick circle of it on top! Only change I made was to make fairy cakes rather than muffins and I managed to get 28 of these out of the mix! Well stocked for our christmas party!"

"Excellent vegetarian alternative - served at the weekend and it went down a treat - would definitely make again - great bonus that they can be made in advance and frozen which is exactly what I did"

"Fantastic Soup! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this! I do agree that it looks a little like baby food but the taste makes up for the appearance! Simple... but nice to have a soup thats a little bit different! Very easy to make although the celeriac takes a bit of time to chop up! We will be having this as a starter when we have guests over later in the week as it's so good - and i will sprinkle a little parsley on top to make it look a little nicer!"
