"Just made this, haven't tasted it yet but i made the cake last night took 1hour 20 mins in fan oven, came out lovely slightly cracked on top.I let it cool then wrapped it in foil and left overnight. I made icing this morning let it cool for 2 hours then mixed with 200g icing sugar, left it to stand for 5 mins then beat it again by which time it had stiffened up .Then iced cake and put it in the fridge just checked it now (2hours later) and icing has hardened nicely enough for me to write on it .I will let you know how it tastes later (its for daughters birthday)."
