"Creamy light sponge with a gentle lemon tang topped with the zingy tang of the drizzle, absolutely divine recipe and so easy to make THIS CAKE IS WHAT LEMONS WERE GROWN FOR! My family demolished it in one day! Wonderful."

"I can't think of a better destiny for the two lonely lemons in the salad box! This cake is so simple but utterly delicious, the sponge is light and moist with an almost madeira like creaminess all topped off with the tang of the lemon drizzle. This cake went down a storm in our family the kids particularly liked it. This is the recipe that has inspired my first ever review on good food! "
