"Really, really lovely - the beef (I used chump steak) was delicious, melt-in-your-mouth quality and the carrots retained just the right amount of firmness. I made it with mash as suggested, but I may make it add potato chunks next time and serve over rice, like many Chinese stews, or serve as a one-pot."

"Oh, pure heaven! There is no real substitute for proper carbonara sauce, so much richer and more flavoursome than anything with cream. When I don't have any pecorino on hand I simply double the parmesan."

"Very nice recipe! I'm a real carnivore usually, but I really enjoyed this salad. The avocado were like little pieces of heaven. I think I will also try adding some crispy bacon next time for extra crunch and flavour."

"These were great for brunch and surprisingly light (I used Japanese panko instead of normal breadcrumbs.) The taste of lemon was a little overpowering for me so I might only use 3/4 of the amount specified next time."
