" I have just notice on this recipe it does not give the temp or time to cook, so I've taken the liberty of looking up a similar recipe to find out this info for anyone looking at this recipe. This is from the recipe for Lemon Star Biscuits. TEMP:180c/gas4/fan160c. TIME:18-20mins. If you turn the biscuit over when you think they are cooked and give it a little tap, if it feels firm and sounds like a bought biscuit when you tap it, then it's cooked. Hope this is of some help. "

"This was a lovely recipe, perfect to keep you busy in the kitchen on a dull, dreary old day in autumn. I'm surprised any of it lasted to the following day it was so good. It might take a bit of time, and your pastry may fall a part a little, like mine did, but because it so pliable you can just pick off a bit from where you don't want it, and put where you do want it. The smells from the kitchen when it is cooking were wonderful, well worth the effort."

"To EAR, as commented on the subject of Friand tins, perhaps you could use deep Yorkshire pudding tins/deep small bun tins, or even muffin bun cases in small bun tin trays. Hope this is of some help to you. From Pippa of Wolverhampton. "

Cherry Bakewell cake

"Have made this cake twice now, once with lemon icing, and once without,I preferred the one with lemon icing,as it had that extra bit of zing to it,which stopped the cake from being too sickly sweet for me. Nice & easy to make, best with the toasted almonds even though I'm not personally a big fan. "
