"Made this for a dinner party (8 of us so doubled the mixture). More than enough, and had a little bit left over for another meal. Lots of favourable comments. Really tasty and very easy to make. Will certainly make it again - may add an extra tbsp of worcestershire sauce, otherwise it is perfect as it is. . "

"Have made this cake twice now using frozen raspberries that we picked in the summer. First time for my husband, the only problem was that it didn't keep too well and became a bit soggy. Second time I served it warm with custard as a dessert at a dinner party and it all disappeared. I think I prefer it as a dessert rather than a cake. Either way, it is very easy and quick to make and will certainly make again, and try different fruit. "

"Make this for a dinner party for 8 (reduced the amount of lamb), everyone enjoyed it, served with cous cous and a green salad and there was nothing left. Very simple to make, although took me a little longer than 30 mins to prepare, probably because I used chops and had to cut the meat off the bones. I cooked it in the slow cooker - initially on high but then turned it down as it was cooking so well. Made the mistake of adding the sweet pots far too early and by the time I dished up, they had more or less disintegrated. Will remember to put them in about an hour before I dish up. "

"Really easy cake to make and looks just like the picture. Think it will make a delicious dessert for a dinner party. Freezes well too. One that I will make again and again."
