"I also substituted chicken for the pork, and also fresh pineapple for tinned. Also added some onions and big, flat mushroom pieces ... Wonderful flavours and a very nice change for our chicken supper. Very tasty and very easy to make. Highly recomended."

"This is a really fab recipe, one of my very favourites, and I use it often. It's great as-is, but easily adaptable too. I love to add sardines, tuna and olives. It's great for using up small leftover amounts of different bread flours. I substitute regular dried yeast (don't forget to activate in the water with a little sugar added first!) Great value and truly delicious."

"A wonderful fruit loaf Angela. I have made several with many different combinations of soft fruits as available, it always turns out perfectly and is so delicious. The topping is especially tasty and makes this teatime treat really yummy. I haven't yet managed to keep it for 2 days as everyone loves it so much! Blueberries with raspberries is the current family favourite. I will make two at once in future. Superb."

"This ginger cake is just gorgeous! It's incredibly easy to make, moist and full of flavour. The rich ginger taste would be great for Christmas or Guy Fawks, but so nice that I think it will be an all-year-round favourite in my house. I melted the butter etc in the microwave, and baked the mixture in my veg roasting pan. So simple - you don't need a hob, or even a cake tin! Thank you for a first rate recipe."
