Chorizo, new potato & haddock one-pot

    Tested

"I've made this a number of times now and each time we're chuffed with the results. I usually end up putting an extra tablespoon or 2 of water in the pan to ensure that the whole thing doesn't dry out while steaming. Haddock is dead expensive here in amsterdam (don't ask me why) so i've made this with cod, panga and tilapia on different occasions. I give them an extra good seasoning with salt, pepper and 'firestorm' pepper, an Australian pepper concoction that includes mace, cloves, dried chili peppers and more, and it's always turned out fantastic. It's a quick, easy and delicious mid-week meal. :)"

"my first pavlova, and it was *lush*!! i left it cool overnight in the oven and it turned out perfectly. a lovely crisp crunchy melt in your mouth outside and a wonderfully light fluffy inside. i don't think i've ever had such a delicious pavlova before. and who'd have thought it'd be so easy!"

Rhubarb & custard pie with butter crumble

    Tested

"after reading all the reviews, i seem to be the only person that had a problem with the filling not setting. (otherwise i'd give it 5 stars.) even after 20 mins cooking, and another 15 - 20 mins with topping (which i also doubled), it all looked ok until i cut into it.... and then it collapsed and ran all over the place. not that that stopped anyone - it still tasted amazing and the lot was gobbled down in record timing. i want to try it again... anyone got any ideas what i might have done wrong?"

"made this for guests last night, explaining to them they they were my guinea pigs as i rarely cook desert, and that i wasn't even sure if it'd turn out right. shouldn't have worried. it all went as it should and i now have a couple of people who've signed up as permanent guinea pigs. the lemon curd was to die for, and the topping was light and fluffy. after a hefty dinner leaving people wondering if they'd be able to fit a dessert, practically the whole dish was devoured by 4 people. success!! :)"

"this was great, but you'd need to be a lover of lemon to truly appreciate it. luckily, all my guests were. mind you, the lemon was on the large side... :) will decrease the amount of lemon juice and increase the tahini next time. was totally devoured. will become a regular metinks. :)"
