"Had to try this recipe as it is the highest rated main course on this website. Think I went a bit overboard with the mascarpone cheese as the sauce was quite orange. But it was delicious and scored high with three members of the family (the other one thought it was 'alright'). Served with new potatoes baked in the oven with garlic and Rosemary and some greens. Will serve with pasta and salad next time"

"These did not freeze well when using the above instructions. They just became mush when defrosted. However, I have tried frying them, freezing and then warming through in the oven and this works better."

"Forgot to put the coffee in the cake! Sponges turned out fine though and I used coffee liquer to sprinkle on the sponges. "

"In our house bananas don't get eaten if they go slighty spotty so I throw them in the freezer and then use them for recipes such as this. Just defrost and add straight to the mixture. If using the streusal topping and a 2lb tin be careful that the nuts on top don't burn as it does take quite a bit longer to cook. "

"Very popular with the vegetarians at our BBQ. We didn't have a lot of time or space so I cooked the parcels in the oven and then kept them warm on teh BBQ. Several people asked for the recipe."
