Sweet chilli jam

"This is a really easy make ahead starter for a dinner party. I have made it quite a few times now and it is always recieved very well - add more lemon juice and black pepper - gives just a little bit more bite against the oiliness on the smoked salmon. Don't know what Nicky did - this has never happened to me."

"The chicken is a bit bland, but I did this as part of a Chinese Banquet Recipe in GFM and it complemented the pork and salmon dishes also included - the chicken is very moist and tender and the cooking liquid made a beautiful noodle soup as a starter."

"I did this as part of a Chinese New Year Banquet it was absolutely delicious - easy to do as nearly all the work is done the day before - as with all Ken Hom Recipes easy to follow and delicious to eat"

"A Good easy mid week supper, use extra sherry and lemon - I cooked this in the morning - allowed to cool and scraped any extra fat off - t-did not taste remotlely fatty - breath smells a lot of garlic afterwards - will cook again"
