"I've not tried this recipe yet but have a couple of suggestions. So Good is a really tasty soya milk but it's also very very sweet, almost puddingy, so I would suggest using one of the unsweetened alternatives in this, I would imagine they would suit the dish better. Also, Cheezly is a god-awful invention and shouldn't be used in anything. Ever. If only lactose intolerant, then use Lacto-free which tastes great, or if dairy intolerant too I would make an odd suggestion of replacing it with finely chopped avocado. Although the avocado doesn't melt of course, it does have a very creamy consistency that often makes a good replacement for cheese. Hope this helps someone out there :)"

"Really nice cake. I've only just started making cakes and have to work extra hard as I don't have an electric whisk, however, after putting so much effort in, it means I can eat twice as much! haha"

"Delicious and completely versatile, I don't like mushrooms so added carrots, celery and a red pepper instead. I cooked it like a casserole in the oven, then transferred the sauce to the hob to reduce, and this worked fine. Perfect with creamy mash. This dish is so easy and requires such little effort I will definitely make it next time friends are round. Also it's a good excuse to open a bottle of red ;o)"

"I made this a couple of weeks ago. It tasted very sharp, as though there was too much cider vinegar in there, is there anything that I could use to replace maybe 1/4 of the vinegar with? Would apple juice work? Having said that, the sharpness of it actually works really well with a creamy cheese. I'm giving some to my girlfriend, and will definitely make this again, maybe with a slight adjustment on the vinegar front. Oh and you'll be picking fig seeds out your teeth all day! "
