"This is really delicious. I served it hot with crushed new potatoes ( they collapsed in the water!) and french beans. Cold leftovers were equally delicious for lunch. Definitely a recipe to keep."

Cheese & Marmite scones

"Suggestion for Joha: I would replace the 2 tbsps yoghurt with 2tbsps milk to which you have added a squeeze of lemon juice, then leave to stand for a few minutes to allow the milk to curdle. It is this acidity which helps the scones to rise."

Chocolate fudge cupcakes

"These were light and delicious though slightly on the dry side, 'fudge' must refer to the topping not the texture of the cake. I used a ladle to scoop the mix into the cases. The topping is definitely one to use again on other cakes. I think I would use fairy cake cases next time instead of muffin sized cases."

Little Louise cupcakes

"I didn't like the idea of meringue on top of cake but when I saw their name I simply had to make them for my daughter Louise's 17th birthday party! They were delicious, all the girls loved them. Nobody likes coconut in our family so I just left it out, the meringue was lovely and soft, more like a marshmallow, even though it sunk a bit when I took it out of the oven. I also had some left over so I made 4 little meringues. Even though I didn't use all the milk, the cake mix was still very runny so I guess that is why the jam sunk to the bottom. Still a very nice recipe."
