Chicken livers on toast

"I could not believe how tasty this dish was, I could have eaten it twice! The left overs made an excellent cold salad the next day with the inclusion of some crispy smoked bacon!"

"This was cooked with purple sprouting broccoli and gave the soup a more intense green colour. It was an interesting and unexpected blend of flavours which went down very well. "

"I found this recipe to use up remaining purple sprouting broccoli from the garden. If using this type of broccoli as opposed to florets then it's worth cooking the broccoli for longer to ensure the stems are tender. The flavour and combination of the ingredients are excellent."
