"Great alternative to a takeaway. I used smoked bacon and spring onions to give some more flavour, and I didn't use the sugar - don't feel it needs it."

"This was just lovely - the sponge was lighter than air and melted in the mouth. I didn't have fresh raspberries so I just used a nice quality raspberry jam and it worked really well. Don't be tempted to overfill the sponge with the cream and lemon curd - I ended up having to scrape quite a bit back off as I was rolling it. Tasted just delicious though :)"

"Yum yum - I added courgette too, and also added some goats cheese into the layers. Made it a lot less 'light' but very tasty indeed! Froze and thawed very well too."

"Made these as a gift and they went down very well. Lovely and moist and the cream cheese topping was naughty but nice!!! Sooo easy to make but everyone commented on how professional they looked and tasted!"
