Bakewell cheesecake

"I made this recipe last week, thought it was worth a try as myself and my hubby both like cheesecake and bakewell tart! I gave half to a friend who is a cheesecake fan, him and his family ate it after their sunday lunch and described it as "fit as!" I found it very easy to make and would probably make again. Just one minor point, I found that the base didn't hold together particularly well, not sure if this was because I used amaretti biscuits? Has anyone else had this problem?"

"This moussaka turned out brilliantly, I froze half of it and re-heated yesterday (nearly 2 weeks after making it) and it was absolutely fine. I took the advice of a few others by using red wine instead of white and adding some grated cheddar to the white sauce. I found the recipe to be easy to follow but it does take quite a lot of time, effort and pans etc! Also, after frying the minced lamb and onion, I whizzed it in my food processor, taking the inspiration from an M&S ready meal moussaka I had a while back that had really finely minced lamb in it, and it was delicious. PS I wish people would only leave comments or ratings on a recipe if they have actually tried it. If someone doesn't like a particular ingredient it is unfair to leave a bad rating when it is purely down to personal taste."

"Could not fault this at all, it was delicious, I served it with double cream, strawberries and raspberries. It was still lovely and gooey in the middle 2 days later after being stored in a biscuit tin. Can't believe the stupid comment someone has put with 1 star saying the recipe doesn't work!!"

"I'd never made brownies myself before, but thought this recipe looked nice and easy, and I was right. The result was absolutely delicious. I served this warm with strawberries, raspberries and cream, and made some extra to have cold. It was delicious both times, nice and squidgy in the middle, and so much better than shop bought brownies."
