"Made it on Pancake Day for 3 people and they turned out beautifully! My brother was a little iffy over the blueberries for a second or two but he got over it and wolfed these down. I had enough batter left over for another session of pancakes the next day so it's also great for a quick breakfast before work. Nice, thanks!"

Best-ever macaroni cheese

"Really delish, sits well on your stomach and is very comforting - the perfect meal on a snowy day in February! I didn't have mustard powder so heaped in some Coleman's mustard and didn't have quite enough cheddar so added in 200g cheddar and an extra 50g of parmesan, but it all worked out beatifully. I certainly have no complaints and neither did my family. Would make again!"

"I rarely find myself satisfied by Asian dishes I find online as they can't quite match the genuine article, but this dish was wonderful! I changed it slightly in that I blended the garlic, shallots and chilli together (a mistake on my part) and therefore fried them all at once but it must have been an inspired mistake on my part as the dish turned out beautifully (very like a Malaysian sambal). Point to note I had less chicken which meant proportionately more sauce and I cut them into little bite-sized pieces to ensure the meat wasn't too tough after frying. "

Spicy mince & lettuce cups

"I've tried many variations of this wrap but never come across one that completely satisfied. This might not have been 100% perfect (too sweet for my taste and requires more of a kick. Then again, I am Asian!!), but it came close!! This is not Chinese so much as it is Thai - the taste comes closest to replicating the traditional Meng Khum (or Miang Khum). The peanuts and the limes are a must-have with this dish. Will make again!"

Cinnamon Nutella cake

"Made this over the weekend and everyone loved it with the exception of my brother but that's OK, he hates nuts!! Very easy to make and yummy too. Only complaint may be that it was a little dry, might try add another egg next time - I used medium sized but this recipe may have called for large sized eggs."
