  • My last supper would be... pancakes with spinach and cheese, or maybe a really good roast with ENORMOUS Yorkshire puddings, or maybe some smoked makeral, or maybe a risotto. I honestly don't know. Gosh. a Really good curry is nice.
  • My fool proof recipe is... pasta with sauce; onion, garlic, mushrooms, leeks, peas (nice green veges) finished with a large dollop of creme fraiche. Delicious.
  • My favourite utensil is... Pestle and mortar or my favourite casserole pan
  • If I am not cooking I'm... eating or cycling or working or making plans to cook
  • The best meal I've eaten was... sandwiches at the top of a mountain - more the setting than the food admittedly.

"This is so delicious. I could eat it ALL THE TIME. But then I would get super fat. Really good idea to use onions, garlic and bay leaves to flavour the cheese sauce. Makes a massive difference. Dead easy too."

"So easy, so delicious. Lovely and cauliflowery with a twist. I served it with lentil and spinach curry and home made fennel seed flat bread. Brilliant."

"This is a good recipe. Nothing outstanding, but a lovely cake was had. I made two and didn't ice the second one immediately and instead poured more coffee into the sponge before icing. Yummy."

Chorizo & pork belly with haricot beans

"This is absolutely DELICIOUS. I used pork belly as suggested and got the butcher to remove the skin and bone and everything. However I kept the skin and roasted it separately to make delicious crackling - this was really good as the stew has no crunchy texture in it. I also made olive bread, and salad to serve. Would highly recommend to everyone. I made it for 10 of us - there wasn't enough as everyone wanted more!"
