"Ooops, I'm just reading these comments whilst the scones are in the oven....just realised I used SR flour (not plain) AND baking powder. They're looking OK. Will report back when they're ready. UPDATE: Scones have risen beautifully and taste fab, so for those who ended up with flat scones, maybe this is the answer?"
