"I like the above recipe. Infact I've already prepared the pastry. What I don't like and cannot understand why it says this is that these mince pies keep for up to 2 days. Why? I've always had mince pies stored away in a tin for at least 15 days. Can anyone give me a reason for this or is it maybe a misprint which should have read weeks and not days."

"I made this several times with great success. I made it again last Saturday and was disappointed as it did not set enough although it hae been in the fridge overnight. Any clues why anyone??"

"I made this cake using nectarines for the inside and strawberries for the topping, it was moist and very good, but the topping never became crisp as suggested in the recipe. Can any one tell me why? "
