"loved it!! I served it with pittas and some salami. I also stirred in some salad leaves to lighten it. Husband and son also loved it. Was a bit lazy (long day at work!!) I used a tin of puy lentils for ease."

"great cake, i collect unusual recipes so this is a good one to add. I have already been asked to make 2 more!! I would have given 5 stars but recipe a bit vague - flour I guessed plain because of the bicarb and baking powder. Also what size tin?? It says tins but I wasn't sure what size. I used a 9in spring tin, but this took about an hour and twenty mins. I had to put silver foil around the edge to stop it burning. Should I have used 2 tins??"

Goat's cheese & beetroot salad

"yummmmmmm, had this as a started and my husband and son loved it. the dressing was really good and have used it for other salads. Minimal effort but looked and tasted great"
