"Very tasty though fiddly to prepare. Don't worry if they are difficult to stick together. The resting time in the fridge allows the pastry to soften and adhere together. The mixture needed to be a little wetter to allow easier handling. Next time I'll add a tsp or two of water."

"Served this last night for a New Year's Eve dinner party with the suggested potatoes and salad. Preceded with meze, followed with almond and honey pastries with orange cream. All wonderful: easy to prep ahead and needing relatively little attention during the party so creating a really chilled and enjoyable evening. Lamb was really tasty though I'd look it slightly less next time."

Chicken with lemons, sumac & spiced yogurt

"I made this last week for a roast with a lighter touch and my family loved it. The dressing really makes it. I served it with the smashed rosemary potatoes and green beans with shallots and almonds suggested in the magazine (plus sweetcorn as an extra veg). There wasn't a scrap left and I'll be serving it to friends next week."

"We really enjoyed this - even my particular 12 year old son. I had less mint than stated so only used about 5g but really it needed more. I used a small lemon and it needed more so I'll follow the stated quantities next time. I mixed in some torn pieces of grilled chicken breast which had been marinaded in a Thai flavouring and it was really yummy!"

"Made this as a supper party starter. Served with good quality bread and didn't change anything. Went down a storm!"
