"This cheesecake was really easy to make and a lot quicker than other cheesecake recipes I've tried. I found that the shortbread biscuits I had were not enough in the quantities given and had to double the amount! A measurement by weight would have helped but it turned out fine. Made it into a bigger tin than suggested as well, baked in a fan oven for 50 mins and left to cool in the oven for a few hours, turned out fab! It went down very well with everyone and will be making it again this week for a pudding party! I would definitely recommend leaving it overnight to chill!"

Banana & blueberry muffins

"For a low fat version, this muffin isn't bad at all. Has very similar texture to a "full fat" muffin, but it could do with a bit more sweetening. Even with almost black bananas they we're sweet but not overly sweet, so great for a filling breakfast muffin."

The ultimate makeover: New York cheesecake

"You wouldn't know it's a low fat cheese cake if it wasn't for that fact that it doesn't make you feel sick after eating it! I used extra low fat soft cheese instead for medium fat, but it turn out very well if slightly wetter than the other one (full fat philly mixed in). Had to cook it slightly longer than suggested but all ovens vary so you have to trial and error a bit. Very pleased with end result."

Spiced carrot & lentil soup

"A great easy to make soup. Would personally be a bit more generous with the chilli. Garlic and/or onion might also be a good idea to try to give it more depth of flavour. All in all not bad at all."

"Very nice but incredibly salty. This might be because of the anchovies I used, they came out in a lump from the jar so more than 2 might have been added. Will be more careful next time."
