- My favourite utensil is... The humble teaspoon - it has many intricate uses.
- If I am not cooking I'm... Hiding in the library studying for my MA in English Literature...or at the neareast bar, pretending I'm studying.
- The best meal I've eaten was... My Grandmothers dolmades - she insists on making them with leaves from her own vines so they only come round once a year *cries*.

"Definately a really versatile recipe - swapped the kidney beans for pinto beans and they held together fantastically (even without the egg.) Halved the recipe and got six mini (half pitta bread) sized burgers which allowed me to test them from frozen later in the week too; huge sucess all round really."

Honeyed carrot soup

"Absolutely brilliant recipe - simple but effective. Followed it to the letter and ended up with a freezer full of soup - although after boasting about how yummy it was the supplies were quickly diminished by visiting relations. Especially good for students as many of the ingredients are storecupboard essentials plus things you can pick up reduced with a little late night shopping. Will definately be making again."
