"I struggled to make this dough to rise (although I regularly make bread!!) so added natural yoghurt (small tub) to give the yeast some added nutrient and have now found this brioche to be very light :-))"

"Have found it is better if made with Doves bread flour plus yeast thereby omitting the baking powder and is easier to cook IMHO. As a coeliac I use a special yeast but if you are OK with wheat then may I suggest normal strong bread flour and yeast. In each instance yoghurt (plain) plus 150ml warm milk and one large egg should make baking easier and removing the need for the high egg content, baking powder and large volume of milk suggested abov. However your bread needs 3hrs to rise before considering to cook !!"

"For a coeliac it ticks all the right boxes :-)) Will make again. Made with honey instead of sugar by accident and it worked!!"

"Being a coeliac is a pain not least that what we cook for ourselves is eaten by everyone else b4 we try them !! This recipe is no exception....seems they were successful as all gone. Also done a batch with lemon curd and 25g sugar...also a success!! "

"The Olive oil made for a bitter taste and have since replaced with a basic sunflower oil with what would seem to be more successful...would make again and again though as kids love them with their curries or soups! :-)"
