Steak and Vegetables

  • Cilantro 1 bushel
  • 3 habaneros
  • 3 jalepenos
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 Tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 Tsp cumin
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Chile Powder
  • 2 Tsp Parsley (Dried and ground)
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic
  • Steak (Any Steak will do) 1 lb
  • 2 cups brocoli
  • 2 cups chopped Carrots
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 potatoes cubed (Small Cooking potatoes)
  • Any Other Vegetables that can steam with these
  • Water 1 cup or less

Method

  • STEP 1
Take ALL Seasonings and blend them in a blender on liquefy until it is a liquid. And Yes It should look odd.
  • STEP 2
pour about half of the seasoning liquid into a 12 inch sauce pan (it Should have a good sized side for the next steps will require it). Turn your stove on until it begins to simmer like its frying something. take your steak(s) and cook it whole until it is decently cooked this is mostly to sear the outside of the steak. Take Them out and set them out of paper towels they will look greasy if done right. before moving on make sure you dry off the grease on the steaks and keep the left over oil in the pan.
  • STEP 3
now Take the water and pour it in to the pan. then take the vegetables and pour it into the pan. pour the rest of the seasoning onto the vegetables and then place the steak on top (i prefer to make them into strips before this). place a lid on this and keep at a medium-high temperature so it steams the mix. steam it for 10 - 20 minutes (sorry about the range i'm not so sure) or until the carats and potatoes feel soft but not grainy.
  • STEP 4
To Serve just Leave in the pan and mix the steak around into it if you striped them. I like to take it for lunches, it begins to spice up after about a day in the fridge (kind of like curry). Also note that your handling hot peppers so make sure if you have cuts to cover them and to wash your hands a lot. and it also helps to open a window or have the overhead vent running (or microwave fan)
  • STEP 5
Note: This Basically covers a full meal. i recommend a nice sourdough bread to go with it though.
