Ingredients

  • 150ml milk
  • 150ml double cream
  • King Edward potatoes
  • Nutmeg
  • Garlic

Method

  • STEP 1
    Peel and cut potatoes into thin slices, put in bowl of cold water to get rid of any starch
  • STEP 2
    Pat them dry with a clean tea town and layer in oven proof dish , on each layer season with salt, pepper and garlic
  • STEP 3
    Mix milk and cream together in a bowl, and pour onto the potatoes
  • STEP 4
    Finally add some nutmeg on top and place in oven
