Thoroughly enjoyed this. The kids like pasta, so I am constantly looking for new recipes. I didn't fancy adding all of the oil from the tuna, and like a previous poster, opted for red pesto. To make a bit more liquid I mixed 1 tbsp red pesto, 1 tbps mayo and about 150ml milk, and it owrked very well

done this a couple of times and everyone loves it. Last time I didn't have cherry tomatoes so used a tin of chopped tomates (Drained) It was actually much nicer with a much more tomatoey flavour. Also prefer it with half pest & half mayo as suggested by another cook.

Lovely and easy to make but halving the tomatoes left them a bit too large for the dish so I think quartering them is probably best. Would definitely make again though.

Went down well, used sweetcorn instead of tomatoes. A good quick meal. Will make again.

Simple tasty meal. I often use half fat creme fraiche with a tablespoon of red pesto intead of a whole jar and it is lovely and creamy. tinned salmon , sometime with peas or broccolli or whatever we have in works well too.

I'm making this for the third time by special request of my other half! I didn't need any persuasion to make it as it really is a tasty supper and so quick and easy to put together. Thanks Dizzy Bec for mentioning that the recipe works well with tinned salmon! I will try that next time with a red pesto - should work very well.

Really liked the flavours in this but on first attempt it didn't heat through properly, next time will stir the ingredients warm before grilling.

we have this all the time, made the first time exactly as above and was yummy but a little oily for my taste. Now we usetuna fish in brine - drain it and i mix the pesto with creme fraiche or low fat mayo top with motzella normally as lower fat... its lovely and my boyfriend demands it normally once a fortnight ... lovely cold for lunch too :D

Made this for dinner tonight and it really went down well! It was so quick and easy to make - will definitely make this again for a quick mid week meal. Instead of using penne pasta, I used some spinach pasta which made it look really interesting and added a slightly different taste. Next time I think I'll not mix in the tomatoes and just layer them on top with the cheese so that they get nice and grilled.

Made this tonight and it is now firmly one of my favourite storecupboard recipes. I wouldn't make it for a dinner party, but as a tasty and easy family supper it is excellent. I am not a huge fan of the usual tuna sweetcorn bakes - the tuna can be a bit overpowering - but the pesto and tomatoes go really well in this recipe. A big thumbs up!

worked well for a quick, last minute, Sunday dinner for 6. We used half the pesto, added a serving spoon of cream cheese and a bit more cheese and tuna. Also scattered fresh basil on the top (made it look quite posh)
